Topcon have discontinued the AT-G7N and have replaced their most popular level ever with the next model up the Topcon AT-G6 at a lower price. With higher specifications like 24x magnification and gas filled telescope, the Topcon AT-G6 is the popular choice for more accurate levelling work on large construction sites or just for general levelling.


EXCLUSIVE MYLAR COMPENSATOR TAPES!
Most levels use thin copper wire tapes to suspend the automatic leveling system (compensator), this works well until the level suffers from an impact, then the tapes stretch or snap making the level inoperable. The cost of this kind of repair can often equal the same as a new level.
Topcon do not use the copper tapes in their AT-G series automatic levels, they use Patented Mylar tapes which have a far greater resistance to impact, which is why almost all the major construction companies in New Zealand only use Topcon AT-G series levels.
